Another Cowes Week over...

The 200th Cowes Week ends today. It was a good week that we actually took part in. We entered a race, the Performance Cruiser "C" class with Salty Sailing, where we had a great day out. A very slick and professional outfit.
The rest of the week was spent visiting and watching races with good friends, which ended with watching the closing fireworks with the same friends.

The organisers made a big deal about the fireworks this year, which we used to have every year until Covid. They also made a big deal about the air displays, which we also used to have before Covid. They have short memories. We used to have fireworks and the Red Arrows. Each year since Covid, Cowes Week has got smaller and smaller, but the crowds and prices have got bigger and bigger...!
