Comments: This is an excellent book for readers from all backgrounds, regardless of how much you know about economics and how it functions. It begins with the basics, introducing key figures who have shaped our understanding of the economy and the world. The book also clearly explains important definitions and economic theories, often in a humorous way and with relatable, everyday examples. Written by Australian Labour (oh dear, really?) MP Andrew Leigh, it's both engaging and informative.
